New Automobile Insurance Endorsement Q.E.F. No. 48a – Goods Delivery Enterprise
The Autorité des marchés financiers has mandated the April 21, 2022 implementation of endorsement Q.E.F. No. 48a to regulate automobile insurance for goods delivery enterprises. This endorsement requires insurers to attach specific conditions to enterprise contracts, guaranteeing that employees using personal vehicles for deliveries receive coverage equivalent to their individual policies. Although the enterprise policy covers active delivery periods, employees must maintain separate liability insurance for non-delivery times and formally notify their personal insurers of their delivery activities.
