CSA Notice of Publication: Regulation to amend Regulation 14-101 respecting Definitions
The Canadian Securities Administrators are adopting amendments to Regulation 14-101 to establish a uniform definition of Canadian financial institution and revise the definition of Handbook to reflect CPAC publications. These changes involve repealing redundant definitions across multiple national instruments and updating references to ensure consistency with the new standardized terms. The Amendments are scheduled to come into force on September 13, 2023, subject to necessary ministerial approvals in various jurisdictions.
