The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) published General License 13K to authorize specific administrative transactions otherwise prohibited by the Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations. This license permits U.S. persons to pay taxes, fees, import duties, and obtain necessary permits or licenses for day-to-day operations in the Russian Federation through January 8, 2025. General License 13K supersedes General License 13J and explicitly excludes authorizing debits to accounts of blocked Russian entities or other transactions prohibited under the sanctions regime.
