Order Revoking Authorization Dated 2 April 2026 – Women of Pemba Credit Cooperative, SCRL
The Bank of Mozambique issued this order to revoke the operating authorization of the Women of Pemba Credit Cooperative, SCRL following its 4 April 2025 request for activity cessation. Citing the cooperative's formal renunciation under Article 23 of the Credit Institutions and Financial Companies Law, the Governor formally cancels its authorization for activity. The order simultaneously appoints the Deposit Guarantee Fund as liquidator to oversee the cooperative's administrative liquidation process.
