Circular to Banks No. 2023-04 of July 14, 2023
The Central Bank of Tunisia issued Circular No. 2023-04 to update the intervention rates and credit deadlines for field vegetable crops, primarily potatoes. The revised ceiling requires banks to modulate disbursement amounts according to farm size, incurred expenses, and recent harvest yields. Effective upon publication, the circular was expedited under the urgent provisions of Law No. 2016-35 following compliance committee review.
