Notice of the Authority Relating to Filing of Interim Return and Other Documents for the Half Year Ending June 30, 2018 – Damage (P&C) Insurers
The Autorité des marchés financiers requires Quebec-licensed damage and reinsurance insurers to electronically file their half-year interim returns, mortgage insurer capital adequacy forms, and compliance attestations. All submissions must be completed in PDF and Excel formats via AMF E-Services by August 14, 2018, with original signed paper copies retained at the insurer’s premises. Failure to submit these documents within the prescribed timeframe may result in administrative monetary sanctions under Section 405.1 of Quebec’s Act respecting insurance.
