Instructions No. (15) of 2021

Regarding the Re-levying of Fees and Commissions for Electronic Banking Services

Pursuant to the provisions of Legislative Decree No. (9) of 2010 concerning Banks, particularly Article (40) thereof,
and after reviewing Instructions No. (7) of 2014 concerning Fees and Commissions and Instructions No. (5) of 2015 concerning
the National Key fees and Instructions No. (4) of 2020 concerning the Palestine Monetary Authority's procedures to mitigate the effects of the health crisis,
and based on what was approved by the Board of Directors of the Palestine Monetary Authority in its meeting No. (235) dated 2021/06/03,
and in accordance with the powers delegated to us,
and in pursuit of the public interest,
we have issued the following Instructions:

Article (1)

Scope of Application

The provisions of these Instructions shall apply to all banks licensed to operate in Palestine.

Article (2)

Fees and Commissions for Electronic Banking Services

1. Repeal of Article (11) of Instructions No. (4) of 2020 concerning the Palestine Monetary Authority's procedures to mitigate the effects of the health crisis.
2. Repeal of Circular No. (2020/191) concerning Electronic Banking Services.

Article (3)

Repeal

All provisions conflicting with the provisions of these Instructions are hereby repealed.

Article (4)

Implementation and Enforcement

All competent authorities shall, each within their respective jurisdiction, implement the provisions of these Instructions, which shall apply from 2021/07/01.
