Notice of the Authority Relating to Filing of Interim Returns and Other Documents for the Half Year Ending April 30, 2016
The Autorité des marchés financiers requires Quebec-licensed insurers with an October 31 year-end to electronically file interim returns and supporting documents for the half year ending April 30, 2016. Submissions must utilize the File Transfer Service, adhere to specified file formats and naming conventions, and be accompanied by complete paper copies retained at the insurer’s premises. All filings are due by June 14, 2016, and non-compliance or late submissions may trigger administrative monetary sanctions under section 405.1 of the Act respecting insurance.
