Regulation to amend Regulation 51-105 respecting Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets
The regulator amends Regulation 51-105 to replace all references to the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) with the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+). This update applies to sections 5, 7, and 8 of the regulation as well as Form 51-105F3A to align with the new electronic filing system. The amendment comes into force on June 9, 2023, with a specific provision for Saskatchewan regarding the filing date with the Registrar of Regulations.
REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 51-105 RESPECTING ISSUERS QUOTED IN THE U.S. OVER-THE-COUNTER MARKETS Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (1), (2) and (34))
- Regulation 51-105 respecting Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets (chapter V-1.1, r. 24.1) is amended by replacing “Regulation 13-101 respecting System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) (chapter V-1.1, r. 2)”, wherever it appears in sections 5, 7 and 8, by “Regulation 13-103 respecting System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+) (insert reference)”.
- Form 51-105F3A of the Regulation is amended by replacing “System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR)” by “System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+)”.
- Effective Date (1) This Regulation comes into force on 9 June 2023. (2) In Saskatchewan, despite paragraph (1), if this Regulation is filed with the Registrar of Regulations after 9 June 2023, this Regulation comes into force on the day on which it is filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
