Appointing a Member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission

THE PRIME MINISTER, HEAD OF GOVERNMENT,

• Having examined the Constitution;
• Having examined Law No. 95-030 of February 22, 1996 on the activity and supervision of credit institutions, as amended;
• Having examined Decree No. 2013-559 of July 23, 2013 appointing the members of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission;
• Having examined Decree No. 2014-1684 of October 29, 2014 appointing the Governor of the Central Bank of Madagascar;
• Having examined Decree No. 2016-151 of March 8, 2016 partially repealing Decree No. 2013-559 of July 23, 2013 and appointing two members of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission;
• Having examined Decree No. 2016-250 of April 10, 2016 appointing the Prime Minister, Head of Government;
• Having examined Decree No. 2016-265 of April 15, 2016, modified and supplemented by Decrees No. 2016-460 of May 11, 2016, No. 2016-1147 of August 22, 2016, No. 2017-148 of March 2, 2017, No. 2017-262 of April 20, 2017, No. 2017-590 of July 17, 2017, and No. 2017-724 of August 25, 2017, appointing members of the Government;
• Having examined Decree No. 2017-121 of February 21, 2017 defining the powers of the Minister of Finance and Budget as well as the general organization of his Ministry;

Upon the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Budget and the Governor of Banky Foiben'i Madagasikara (Central Bank of Madagascar),

In Council of Government,

DECREE:

Article 1: Mr. Adrianavalomanana RAZAFIARISON is appointed as a member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission for a term of three (3) years.

Article 2: All provisions contrary to this Decree are and remain repealed, particularly those of Decree No. 2013-559 of July 23, 2013 appointing the members of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission.

Article 3: Due to urgency and in accordance with Articles 4 and 6 of Ordinance No. 62-041 of September 19, 1962 on general provisions of domestic and private international law, this Decree takes immediate effect upon publication by radio and/or television broadcast or posting, independently of its insertion in the Official Journal of the Republic.

Article 4: The Minister of Finance and Budget is charged with the execution of this Decree, which shall be published in the Official Journal of the Republic.
