Notice Relating to the Filing of Annual Returns and Other Documents for Insurers Licensed in Québec – Fiscal Year Ending October 31, 2023
The Autorité des marchés financiers requires all life and health insurers authorized in Québec to electronically file their annual returns, audited financial statements, and actuarial reports for the fiscal year ending October 31, 2023. Submissions must generally be completed within sixty to ninety days following the fiscal year end through AMF E-Services, with specific file formats and deadlines outlined in the attached appendices. Failure to submit complete and timely documentation subjects insurers to monetary administrative penalties under the Insurers Act.
