2020-07-23 | Carta Circular 4073The Head of the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig) of the Central Bank of Brazil amends Circular Letter No. 3.605 to impose new compliance reporting obligations. Financial institutions are now required to submit a quarterly declaration of conformity regarding the values of their tariffed services via the Sisbacen system, even if no changes occurred during the period. This regulatory change enters into force on August 1, 2020.
The Head of the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig), in exercise of the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, clause "a", of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287 of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III, of said Regulations, and considering the provisions of § 3 of Article 2 of Circular Letter No. 3,512 of November 25, 2010,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. Circular Letter No. 3,605 of July 3, 2013, shall enter into force with the following alterations:
“Article 1-A. The institutions indicated in Article 1 must submit to the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig), on the first business day of each civil quarter, a declaration of conformity regarding the values of their respective services published on the Central Bank's Internet page, even if no alterations occurred during the immediately preceding quarter.
Sole Paragraph. The declaration of conformity referred to in the caput must be submitted through the "Quarterly Compliance" option, available in transaction PESP580, of the Central Bank Information System - Sisbacen.” (NR)
Article 2. This Circular Letter enters into force on August 1, 2020.
