CSA Notice and Request for Comment: Draft Regulation to Amend Regulation 21-101 Respecting Marketplace Operation
The Canadian Securities Administrators have published draft amendments to Regulation 21-101 and its associated Policy Statement to streamline reporting requirements for marketplaces and information processors. These changes reduce regulatory burden by eliminating duplicative and superfluous data submissions while enhancing systems-related obligations to include explicit cyber resilience standards and broader security incident reporting. The public is invited to submit comments on these proposals within a 90-day period ending July 17, 2019.
