The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued a final rule amending reporting and information regulations applicable to derivatives clearing organizations to update requirements for commingling customer funds and positions. The amendments revise daily and event-specific reporting obligations, codify required daily reporting fields in a new appendix, and adjust delegation provisions within the regulations. DCOs must comply with most amendments by September 7, 2023, while specific changes to section 39.19 and Appendix C have a compliance deadline of February 10, 2025.
