In the context of the policy formulation and implementation of a 5,000 (Five Thousand) crore taka refinance scheme to provide working capital in the agriculture sector due to the outbreak of Novel Corona Virus.

Dear Sir,

Reference is invited to paragraph 1(g) of ACD Circular No.-01 dated 13/04/2020 and ACD Circular Letter No.-03 dated 29/12/2020 regarding the subject matter. Through the aforementioned circulars, the time limit for customer-oriented loan distribution by banks for the proper implementation of the 'Special Incentive Refinance Scheme' in the agriculture sector has been extended until June 30, 2021.

Furthermore, in place of the instruction listed in serial number 4 of the aforementioned circular, which stated 'No bank shall distribute loans exceeding 30% of the allocated loans in favor of any single sector', the maximum limit for loan distribution to any single sector has been fixed at 40%.

In addition, all other instructions mentioned in the aforementioned circulars shall remain unchanged.

These instructions shall be effective immediately.
