The Agriculture Credit Department extends the directives of its June 5, 2022 Circular No. 03 to additional flood-affected districts in the North and North-eastern regions, including Sherpur, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, and others identified by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. The allocation requirement under the special refinancing scheme for agriculture loans at a 4% interest rate is modified to mandate that banks distribute at least 40% of their unutilized balances to these specific flood-affected districts. These directives take immediate effect.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the provision of agriculture loan facilities to farmers affected by the recent floods in the North and North-eastern regions of the country.
With reference to the aforementioned subject, you are hereby informed that the directives mentioned in serial numbers 1 and 3-8 of the ACD Circular No. 03 dated June 5, 2022, issued by this department, will also apply to the districts of Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Kishoreganj, and Netrokona, as well as the flood-affected districts in the northern region of the country, namely: Sherpur, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, and other flood-affected districts identified by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
Furthermore, the directive mentioned in serial number 2 of the aforementioned circular will be modified as follows:
This directive will take immediate effect.
