Regarding the formulation and operation of a 5,000 (Five Thousand) Crore Taka refinance scheme for the agriculture sector to ensure food security of the country.

Dear Sir,

With reference to paragraph 8(k) of ACD Circular No. 07, dated 17 November 2022, on the subject cited above, it is informed that the 'cattle fattening' sector has been included under the 5,000 Crore Taka refinance scheme for the agriculture sector to ensure food security of the country, among the sectors mentioned in the said paragraph.

In this regard, you are instructed to send the consolidated monthly statement of loan distribution under the aforementioned scheme (as per the attached table) by the 7th working day of the following month.

Furthermore, all other instructions mentioned in the aforementioned circular shall remain unchanged.

This instruction shall take effect immediately.

This instruction is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
