Regarding the formation and operation of a 5,000 (Five Thousand) crore Taka refinance scheme to provide working capital in the agriculture sector due to the outbreak of Novel Corona Virus.

Dear Sir,

Reference is drawn to paragraph 1(g) of ACD Circular No. 01 dated 13/04/2020 on the subject cited above. Through the said circular, the "Special Incentive Refinance Scheme" in the agriculture sector was formed. To ensure its proper implementation, the time limit for loan distribution by banks at the customer level has been extended from 30 September 2020 to 31 December 2020.

All other instructions mentioned in the aforementioned circular regarding this matter will remain unchanged.

This directive will take effect immediately.
