ACD Circular Letter No. 02: Refinance Scheme of Taka 1000.00 Crore for Increasing Production of Wheat and Maize
The document extends the deadline for banks to distribute customer loans under the Taka 1,000.00 Crore refinance scheme for wheat and maize production to June 30, 2027. All other provisions of ACD Circular No. 05 dated August 25, 2022, regarding this scheme remain unchanged. Regarding the formulation and operation of the policy for the Taka 1,000.00 (One Thousand) Crore Refinance Scheme to increase the production of wheat and maize.
Dear Sir,
With reference to ACD Circular No. 05, dated 25/08/2022, on the subject cited above, you are hereby informed that the time limit for banks to distribute customer loans under the Taka 1,000.00 (One Thousand) Crore Refinance Scheme established to increase the production of wheat and maize has been extended until June 30, 2027. Furthermore, other matters of ACD Circular No. 05, dated 25/08/2022, shall remain unchanged.
This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991 (as amended up to 2023).
