The Malta Financial Services Authority updates the taxonomy versions required for RESOL1 and RESOL2 resolution reporting modules to RES020000, replacing the versions previously communicated in the circular dated 17 December 2025. Credit institutions must use the RES020000 taxonomy when generating xBRL-CSV files for all upcoming submissions. All other instructions, technical details, and submission requirements from the original circular remain fully applicable.

Following the publication of the aforementioned circular, EBA has updated the relevant taxonomy. To this effect, the taxonomy versions referenced in the original circular for resolution planning reporting should be revised as follows: Correct Taxonomy Versions Credit institutions are informed that the correct taxonomy version to be used for both reporting modules is: • RES020000 – applicable to RESOL1 • RES020000 – applicable to RESOL2 This version replaces the taxonomy previously communicated in the original circular. Credit institutions must ensure that all upcoming RESOL1 and RESOL2 submissions are submitted by using the RES020000 taxonomy when generating xBRL-CSV files for resolution reporting. All other instructions, technical details and submission requirements contained in the original circular remain fully applicable.
