The National Customs Agency of Mexico establishes its second general vacation period for 2025 from December 18, 2025, to January 2, 2026. During this period, legal deadlines and terms for acts, procedures, and administrative processes before the Agency's administrative units are not computed. This suspension does not apply to personnel assigned to guard duties or those necessary for customs operations and continuity, as provided by the Federal Tax Code and Customs Law.

AGREEMENT ANNOUNCING THE SECOND GENERAL VACATION PERIOD 2025 FOR THE NATIONAL CUSTOMS AGENCY OF MEXICO
RAFAEL FERNANDO MARÍN MOLLINEDO, Head of the National Customs Agency of Mexico, based on the provisions of Articles 1, 3, fraction XIII, 4, section A, 8, and 11, fractions II, III, and XX, of the Internal Regulations of the National Customs Agency of Mexico, issued by "DECREE reforming and adding various provisions of the Internal Regulations of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and of the Internal Regulations of the Tax Administration Service, and issuing the Internal Regulations of the National Customs Agency of Mexico," published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 21, 2021, as well as its reform published in the same official organ on May 24, 2022, and
Considering
That the National Customs Agency of Mexico has exclusive responsibility for the direction, organization, and functioning of customs and inspection services, to apply and ensure compliance with legal norms regulating the entry and exit of goods from national territory.
That it is the Agency's responsibility to issue general provisions and administrative agreements necessary for the effective exercise of its powers.
That, in order to provide and guarantee greater legal certainty to taxpayers regarding the exercise of powers conferred upon the National Customs Agency of Mexico, it is convenient to issue this Administrative Agreement in its Internal Regulations.
That, in order to establish the vacation period for the National Customs Agency of Mexico, for the purpose of calculating legal deadlines and terms, the following is issued:
"AGREEMENT ANNOUNCING THE SECOND GENERAL VACATION PERIOD
2025 FOR THE NATIONAL CUSTOMS AGENCY OF MEXICO"
Sole Article. In terms of Article 12, first and second paragraphs of the Federal Tax Code (CFF), the following shall apply:
I. For the purpose of calculating deadlines and terms, the second general vacation period of the year 2025 is established as the period comprising the days from December 18, 2025, to January 2, 2026.
II. During this period, legal deadlines and terms corresponding to acts, procedures, and processes conducted before the administrative units of the National Customs Agency of Mexico shall not be computed.
This is without prejudice to personnel covering guard duties and those necessary for the operation and continuity in the exercise of conferred powers and customs clearance, as provided in Articles 13 of the CFF, 1st, 10, 18, 19, 35, 36, and 43 of the Customs Law; and 14 of its Regulations, in relation to Annex 4, Customs Hours, of the General Rules of Foreign Trade in force.
Transitory Provisions
Sole. This Agreement shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
