This amendment adds the Eighty-Eighth Transitory Provision to the Single Circular for Insurance and Sureties, extending the submission deadline for the Regulatory Report on Corporate Governance (RR-2) for the 2021 fiscal year. Institutions and mutual societies subject to oversight must present the report within 165 business days following the closing of the fiscal year, rather than the originally granted 145 business days. The circular enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

AMENDATORY CIRCULAR 6/22 TO THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETIES CIRCULAR
(Eighty-Eighth Transitory Provision)
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on the provisions of articles 366,
subsection
II, 367, subsection II, 372, subsections VI and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and
CONSIDERING
That article 9 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions grants this National Commission of
Insurance and Sureties the authority to extend the deadlines established therein to attend to the procedures
established in it or in the provisions derived from it.
That article 389 of the cited Law states that the institutions and mutual societies, as well as the
other persons and entities subject to the inspection and oversight of this Commission, must submit to it, in
the
form and terms established for such effect, the reports and evidence that regarding their organization, operations,
accounting, investments or equity it requests for purposes of regulation, supervision, control, inspection,
oversight, statistics and other functions that in accordance with the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions and
other legal, regulatory and administrative provisions it corresponds to exercise.
That Provision 38.1.1. of the Single Circular for Insurance and Sureties establishes that the institutions and
mutual societies, as well as the other persons and entities subject to the inspection and oversight of this
Commission, must present, among others, the Regulatory Report on Corporate Governance (RR-2), which,
in accordance with the last paragraph of Provision 38.1.3., must be delivered within the period of one hundred forty-five
business days following the closing of the fiscal year, in conformity with what is indicated in Annex 38.1.3, and in
adherence to the procedure indicated in Chapters 39.1 and 39.3 of the Single Circular for Insurance and Sureties.
That by virtue of the nature of the information corresponding to the closing of the 2021 fiscal year, this
Commission has considered, on a one-time basis, to extend the deadline for the delivery of the Regulatory Report on
Corporate Governance (RR-2), granting twenty additional business days to the originally granted deadline.
In view of the foregoing this Commission has resolved to issue the following amendment to the Single Circular for
Insurance and Sureties in the terms specified below:
AMENDATORY CIRCULAR 6/22 TO THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETIES CIRCULAR
(Eighty-Eighth Transitory Provision)
SOLE.- The Eighty-Eighth Transitory Provision is added to the Single Circular for Insurance and
Sureties, to read as follows:
«EIGHTY-EIGHTH. The Regulatory Report on Corporate Governance (RR-2)
corresponding to the 2021 fiscal year, shall be presented in conformity with what is indicated in the
Annex 38.1.3, within one hundred sixty-five business days following the closing of said
fiscal year, and its delivery shall adhere to the procedure indicated in Chapters 39.1 and 39.3 of
the present Provisions. »
TRANSITORY
SOLE.- This Amendatory Circular shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official
Gazette of the Federation.
The foregoing is made known to you based on articles 366, subsection II, 367, subsection II,
372, subsections VI and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions.
