The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties suspends the deadlines for supervised institutions, entities, and persons to submit information via the computer systems established in Provision 39.1.8 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular. This suspension applies from November 27, 2020, to December 7, 2020, rendering these days legally non-working for such purposes. The computation of deadlines resumes on December 8, 2020. This measure was adopted due to an information technology impact affecting the submission of required data.

AMENDING CIRCULAR 13/20 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR
(Transitory Provision Eighty-One)
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on what is provided in articles 366, fraction II, 372, fractions VI and XLII, 373, 381, and 389 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions and,
CONSIDERING
That the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties is the decentralized body of the Federal Public Administration empowered to issue, within the scope of its competence, the General Provisions to which Insurance, Surety Institutions, and other Entities and Persons subject to the Commission's supervision must adhere.
That article 389 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions states that such Institutions, Entities, and Persons must submit to it, in the form and terms established by the Commission through general provisions, the reports and proofs regarding their organization, operations, accounting, investments, or assets that it requests for regulatory, supervisory, control, inspection, surveillance, statistical, and other functions that correspond to it under said Law or other legal, regulatory, and administrative provisions. It may establish the use of equipment, electronic, optical, or any other technology means, automated data processing systems, and telecommunications networks, whether private or public, setting the bases for determining user identification means and the corresponding responsibilities for their use.
That as a result of an impact in the matter of information technologies, it is necessary to suspend deadlines for the delivery of information that Supervised Institutions, Entities, and Persons are obligated to carry out through the computer systems established in Provision 39.1.8 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular.
For the above reasons, this Commission has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the terms specified below:

(Transitory Provision Eighty-One)
SINGLE.- Provision Eighty-One Transitory is added to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, to read as follows:
EIGHTY-ONE.-
The deadline that Supervised Institutions, Entities, and Persons have to deliver information to the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties through the computer systems established in Provision 39.1.8 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, is suspended from November 27, 2020, to December 7, 2020.
The days included within this period shall be considered as non-working days for all legal effects that may arise, and the computation of deadlines for the delivery of the aforementioned information shall resume on December 8, 2020.
TRANSITORY
SINGLE.- This Amending Circular shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the Federation.
The foregoing is made known to you based on what is provided in articles 366, fraction II, 372, fractions VI and XLII, 373, 381, and 389 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions.
