AML/CFT Approved Courses for VFA Issuers & VFA Service Providers
The MFSA approves the Anti-Money Laundering Course for VFA Issuers & Service Providers, offered by the Malta Institute of Management, for fulfilling competence requirements for Money Laundering Reporting Officers under the Virtual Financial Assets Rulebook. The course commences on 15 October 2019. Training providers seeking approval must submit requests to the Authority including course content and certification award mechanism details.

AML/CFT Approved Courses for VFA Issuers & VFA Service Providers
The courses approved by the MFSA for the purposes of fulfilling the competence requirements for Money Laundering Reporting Officers ('MLROs') in terms of R2-2.4.6.6 of Chapter 2 and R3-2.2.3.3.4 of Chapter 3 of the Virtual Financial Assets Rulebook ('the Rules') are available on the following link: Approved Courses for Proposed Persons.
The industry is hereby informed that the following course has been approved by the MFSA for this purpose.
Course Title: Anti-Money Laundering Course for VFA Issuers & Service Providers Training Provider: Malta Institute of Management Commencement Date: 15 October 2019
Training providers interested in having their courses approved by the MFSA are to submit a request for approval to the Authority, providing at least: [i] the course content; and [ii] information on the certification award mechanism, including: attendance, assessment and grading.
