S.A. (SAMA) is the central bank of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1952. SAMA is responsible for maintaining monetary stability, promoting the stability of the financial system, and supervising financial institutions in the Kingdom. It also acts as the government's bank and manages the country's foreign exchange reserves. The General Department of Finance Companies Supervision is a department within SAMA responsible for overseeing finance companies.
