Financial Intermediation Entities must individually evaluate reprogramming requests from borrowers affected in their economic activity, assessing their new repayment capacity. Entities may also offer alternative solutions such as grace periods with conditions adjusted to the credit characteristics and the borrower's situation. The document clarifies that reprogramming a credit does not automatically result in changing the debtor's classification to a higher risk category.

REF: PROCEDURE NO. T-2107723361 REPROGRAMMING OF CREDIT OPERATIONS FOR BORROWERS

Gentlemen:

Within the framework of current regulations, Financial Intermediation Entities (EIFs) are authorized to attend to and analyze requests for reprogramming from those borrowers who have been directly or indirectly affected in their economic activity. Such evaluation must be conducted individually, based on an assessment of the particular situation and impact on each of them, as well as their new repayment capacity.

Likewise, it should be noted that in response to these reprogramming requests, EIFs may also evaluate other solution measures for affected debtors, such as grace periods and others that contemplate accessible conditions, adjusted to the characteristics of the credit and the current situation of each borrower's repayment capacity.
