ASFI Circular Letter DSR I CC-5986 2020 of October 7, 2020

Financial Intermediation Entities must implement necessary control measures to strictly comply with the deadlines for submitting periodic information through the Authority's Periodic Information Capture System. Non-compliance with the deadlines established in Chapter III, Title II, Book 5th of the Compilation of Norms for Financial Services triggers the initiation of administrative sanctioning processes, in addition to the application of fines for delay.

Gentlemen:

Considering the constant delays in the submission of periodic information through this Authority's Periodic Information Capture System, Financial Intermediation Entities are urged to implement the necessary control measures to strictly comply with the deadlines established in the Regulation for the Submission of Information contained in Chapter III, Title II, Book 5th of the Compilation of Norms for Financial Services.

In this regard, it is recalled that, regardless of the application of the Regulation on the Application of Fines for Delay in the Submission of Information, non-compliance or disregard for the aforementioned Regulation will give rise to the initiation of the corresponding administrative sanctioning process.
