Authorisation to conduct banking business as a banking institution – SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES BANK LIMITED (SME Bank)
The Bank of Namibia granted authorization to Small and Medium Enterprises Bank Limited to conduct banking business as a banking institution in Namibia. This authorization is effective from 30 November 2012 and is issued in terms of section 18(a)(i) of the Banking Institutions Act, 1998.

AUTHORISATION TO CONDUCT BANKING BUSINESS AS A BANKING INSTITUTION - SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES BANK LIMITED
Notice is hereby given, in terms of section 18(a)(i) of the Banking Institutions Act, 1998 (Act No. 2 of 1998), as amended, that the Bank of Namibia has granted authorization to SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES BANK LIMITED (“SME BANK”) to conduct banking business as a banking institution in Namibia effective from 30 November 2012.
