Authorization for the merger by absorption of a Belgian insurance intermediary by a Belgian insurance company - AXA Belgium
The Management Committee of the National Bank of Belgium authorized the merger by absorption of the insurance intermediary Protexis NV by the insurance company AXA Belgium NV. This merger, governed by Article 102 of the Law of 13 March 2016, officially took effect on 31 December 2021.

Pursuant to Article 102 of the Law of 13 March 2016 on the status and supervision of insurance or reinsurance undertakings, the Management Committee of the National Bank of Belgium, during its meeting on 7 September 2021, granted authorization for the merger by absorption of the insurance intermediary Protexis NV, whose registered office is located at Hermann-Debrouxlaan 40-42 in 1160 Brussels, Auderghem, by the insurance company AXA Belgium NV, whose registered office is located at Troonplein 1, 1000 Brussels.
This merger took effect on 31 December 2021.
