Bank of Portugal issued Notice No. 1/2025 to amend Notice No. 6/2024 regarding the provision of information to banking clients about the State's personal guarantee regime for permanent housing credit for young people up to 35 years old. The regulation applies to credit institutions, including banks and agricultural credit cooperatives, to ensure compliance with behavioral supervision standards. It entered into force on January 18, 2025, following its publication in the Official Journal on January 17, 2025.
