Bank of Zambia Circular No. 11/2019: Request for Civil Servant Account Details
The Bank of Zambia requires all commercial banks to submit account numbers and names for civil servants receiving government salaries through their institutions. This request addresses concerns regarding suspected fraudulent and money laundering activities within the Government payroll system. Banks must email electronic copies of the requested data to designated officials by November 8, 2019.
