## REQUEST FOR ACCOUNT DETAILS FOR CIVIL SERVANTS RECEIVING SALARIES THROUGH YOUR INSTITUTIONS
Reference is made to the above matter.
It has been brought to the attention of the Bank of Zambia by the Government of the Republic of Zambia that the financial system may be used by some civil servants for suspected fraudulent and money laundering activities using the Government payroll system.
In this regard, the Bank of Zambia is requesting for account numbers and names for all civil servants that receive salaries from the Government through your banks. Electronic copies of this information should be emailed to `cnkabalika@boz.zm` and `rkasonde@boz.zm` by Friday November 8, 2019. Should you require any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the office of the Director – Bank Supervision.
