Decision on the Issue and Main Features of the 1000-Dinar Banknote
The Governor of the National Bank of Serbia issued a decision to introduce a 1000-dinar banknote featuring the portrait of Georg Weifert and specific security elements. The note measures 72 x 151 mm and incorporates advanced anti-counterfeiting features including a kinegram, optically variable ink, and a see-through register. This regulation officially establishes the design specifications and legal tender status of the new currency, entering into force on July 25, 2014.
