2 The numbering contains two letters and seven numerals and is printed twice on the reverse – once in black and once in red. The numbering is printed in red and is placed in the upper part between the great coat-of-arms of the Republic of Serbia and the denomination value „1000‟ in the positive, fluorescing red under ultraviolet rays. The numbering is printed in black and placed along the right edge of the fully printed part, above the smaller denomination value „1000‟, fluorescing yellow-green under ultraviolet rays. 3. The dimensions of the 1000-dinar banknote are 72 х 151 mm. Obverse of the banknote 4. The layout is horizontal. On the left hand side of the banknote there is the portrait of Georg Weifert, in intaglio print. To the left of the portrait there is a line of words in the positive reading „Georg Weifert‟ both in Cyrillic and Latin, and years of his birth and death: „1850–1937‟. To the right of the portrait there shall be a dominant image of the beer brewery complex, owned by Georg Weifert. The denomination value „1000‟ is in the negative, placed in the upper right corner of the fully printed part, and the one in the positive is placed in the lower part of the white surface. The text „Narodna banka Srbije‟ is written in Latin in two rows and placed in the white surface in the right corner, while the same text in Cyrillic in two rows is placed near the left margin of the banknote – words „Narodna banka‟ in the positive and the word „Srbije‟ in the negative. Above the word „Srbije‟ written in Cyrillic letters in the negative there is an intaglio mark for the visually impaired persons (two horizontal lines inscribed in a rectangle). To the left from this word there is the micro-text „NBS‟ printed in the same technique, in Cyrillic and Latin letters in six rows. In the upper part of the white surface, there is a security element in optically variable colour (OVI) in intaglio print, containing the logo of the National Bank of Serbia. Depending on the viewing angle, the colour of this security element changes from magenta (nuance of red) to green. In the lower right side part of the white surface, above the denomination value „1000‟, there shall be an intaglio kip effect showing the NBS logo. This mark shall be visible only under certain viewing angles (the viewing direction must be in a nearly horizontal line with the banknote, and rotated by 45 degrees to the left/right), providing the image both in the negative and in positive. Along the upper and the lower edge of the element,
3 there continuously runs the micro-text reading „NBS', in Cyrillic in the upper part and in Latin in the lower part. In the lower part of the banknote, to the left of the denomination value „1000‟, there is a transparent see-through register, featuring a half of an image visible as a whole only if viewed together with the matching half-image printed on the reverse of the banknote (the whole picture features a triangle made of two smaller triangles, one of which is printed on the obverse and the other on the reverse of the banknote). Right to the number „1000‟ in the negative there is the text “hiljadu dinara” in Latin letters, in the positive, while the same text in Cyrillic in the negative is placed in the lower part of the banknote, right to the portrait. Along the right edge of the banknote, against the light-red background there is the text „falsifikovanje se kažnjava po zakonu‟ first in Cyrillic and then in Latin letters, and in the continuation there is a discretely designated denomination value „1000‟. Reverse of the banknote 5. The layout is vertical. In the central part of the fully printed area of the banknote, there is the portrait of Georg Weifert in the sitting posture against the background depicting the interior of the building of the National Bank of Serbia. Below the figure there shall be the central motif of the commemorative medal. The denomination value „1000‟ in the positive is placed in the upper right corner of the banknote against discreet red colour, and the one in the negative is placed in the lower left corner of the fully printed part. In the upper right corner of the fully printed part there is the text „hiljadu dinara‟ in Cyrillic letters in the positive, and (below it) in Latin letters in the negative. The lower right part of the white surface contains words in three rows, from up to down in Cyrillic and Latin letters: „Beograd‟, „godina‟ and „guverner‟ with the designation of the year „2014‟ in the negative. Below these words is a facsimile of the signature of Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković. The upper and lower edges of the fully printed part contain the text „Narodna banka Srbije – Zavod za izradu novčanica i kovanog novca – Topčider‟ (the upper text in Cyrillic letters and the lower text in Latin letters). The lower right corner of the fully printed part contains the micro-text „1000 dinara‟ in the positive, alternately in Cyrillic and Latin letters, in eight rows. The denomination value „1000‟ is placed above the micro-text.
4 In the upper left corner of the banknote, against the red background, there is the great coat-of-arms of the Republic of Serbia. The background under the coat-of-arms contains the multiplicated number „1000‟ in the negative with a shade, and the micro-text in the lower part. The upper left part of the banknote, at the border between the white surface and the fully printed part contains the second part of the see-through register referred to in Section 4, paragraph 8 hereof. 6. The obverse and reverse of the banknote are dominated by shades of red, with the addition of ochre-yellow and blue-green shades on the obverse. The ochre-yellow colour on both the obverse and reverse of the banknote fluoresces yellow under ultra-violet light. 7. This Decision shall be published in the RS Official Gazette and shall enter into force on 25 July 2014. D. No 11 Governor 21 July 2014 National Bank of Serbia Belgrade Dr Jorgovanka Tabaković, sign.
