The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) directs all supervised financial institutions to comply with regulatory instructions and make the free unified customer service number (800) available to all customer segments. This directive implements a request from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission to replace the existing unified number (9200) with the toll-free (800) alternative. Financial institutions must ensure continuous availability of these communication channels in accordance with SAMA Circular No. 48007/67 dated 1440/8/2H.

Subject: Ensuring the Availability of Communication Channels for Customers with Financial Institutions.
I refer to the communication received from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission regarding its request to replace the unified customer service number (9200) for all financial institutions with the free unified number (800), and in continuation of SAMA Circular No. 48007/67 dated 1440/8/2H regarding the availability of communication channels for customers with financial institutions.
SAMA wishes to emphasize that all financial institutions must comply with the instructions in this regard and make the free unified number (800) available to all customer segments.
