The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) issued Instruction 400 to regulate public offerings of securities in primary or secondary markets, revoking previous instructions 13/80 and 88/88. The regulation underwent numerous amendments via subsequent CVM Instructions and Resolutions between 2006 and 2021, which modified specific articles and annexes. The entire instruction was ultimately revoked by CVM Resolution 160/22.
