Notice Related to Extension of Pilot Project Concerning Remunerated Passenger Transportation Services Requested Exclusively Using a Mobile Application
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) extends its Pilot project for remunerated passenger transportation services requested exclusively via mobile applications until October 14, 2018. Authorized by the Minister of Transport through Order 2017-09, this one-year extension maintains all existing conditions and restrictions detailed in the specific endorsement and AMF Notice. Industry participants must continue complying with these established regulatory requirements throughout the extended period to legally operate under the pilot framework.
00 Notice related to extension of Pilot project concerning remunerated passenger transportation services requested exclusively using a mobile application On September 30, 2016, the Minister of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Transport Electrification (the “Minister of Transport”) authorized the Pilot project concerning remunerated passenger transportation services requested exclusively using a mobile application1 (the “Pilot project”), which ends on October 14, 2017. On September 29, 2017, the Minister of Transport published a new order2 that makes certain amendments to the Pilot project and extends it by one year, until October 14, 2018. Consequently, the Autorité des marchés financiers (the “AMF”) informs the industry that it is maintaining the conditions and restrictions that were imposed as of the coming into force of the Pilot project for the duration of the extension.
