COMMUNICATION 003/14

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, through the General Directorate of Labor, Hygiene and Occupational Safety; in view of the upcoming Carnival holidays, reminds the general population that in accordance with labor regulations, Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 of the current management period are national holidays with suspension of public and private labor activities.

For Friday, February 28, 2014, a continuous work schedule from 08:00 to 15:00 hours is established for the public administration at the national level. This provision must be coordinated by the Personnel Offices of each Public Institution; private companies must adapt this determination by mutual agreement, considering their modalities and working hours.
