BCB External Circular SGDB No. 050/2012: Electronic Auction System (SSE) and High-Value Payments System (SIPAV) Demonstrations
The Central Bank of Bolivia invites financial system cooperatives to attend demonstrations of the Electronic Auction System (SSE) and the High-Value Payments System (SIPAV) in Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, and Tarija on November 8, 9, and 16, 2012. The SSE enables the acquisition of public securities with short-term liquidity options, while SIPAV facilitates real-time payments and credit disbursements guaranteed by the RAL Fund. Cooperatives must submit their participant lists to the Central Bank at least two days prior to the scheduled event in their respective cities.

The Central Bank of Bolivia invites the General Managers and main executives of the Cooperatives of the financial system to participate in the demonstration of the reference systems according to the following schedule:

The SSE allows the acquisition of public securities, with the possibility of reporting these values and obtaining short-term liquidity. The SIPAV, for its part, allows payments from/to other entities of the financial system and credit disbursements with guarantee of the RAL Fund (tranches I and II) to be channeled in real time.
The list of participants from each Cooperative must be communicated by phone to 2661614 or by email to muriona@bcb.gob.bo up to two days before the event in each city. The Annex details the cities to which representatives of the financial entities may attend.
