Regulation to amend Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure

The securities regulators have amended Regulation 81-106 to update references from the legacy SEDAR system to the new SEDAR+ platform across multiple sections and forms. These changes replace all mentions of SEDAR and the www.sedar.com website with SEDAR+ and www.sedarplus.com in sections 5.2, 5.3, 9.4, 12.2.1, and Form 81-106F1. The amendments come into force on June 9, 2023, with a specific provision allowing delayed effective dates in Saskatchewan if filed after that date.

REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 81-106 RESPECTING INVESTMENT FUND CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (1), (2) and (34))

  1. Sections 5.2 and 5.3 of Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure (chapter V-1.1, r. 42) are amended by replacing “SEDAR”, wherever it appears, by “SEDAR+”.
  2. Section 9.4 of the Regulation is amended by replacing “www.sedar.com”, in subparagraph (f) of paragraph (2.2), by “www.sedarplus.com”.
  3. Section 12.2.1 of the Regulation is amended by replacing “SEDAR”, wherever it appears, by “SEDAR+”.
  4. Form 81-106F1 of the Regulation is amended: (1) in part B: (a) by replacing “SEDAR at www.sedar.com”, in item 1, by “SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.com”; (b) by replacing “www.sedar.com”, in paragraph (9) of the instructions of item 5, by “www.sedarplus.com”; (2) by replacing “SEDAR at www.sedar.com” , in item 1 of part C, by “SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.com”.
  5. Effective Date (1) This Regulation comes into force on 9 June 2023. (2) In Saskatchewan, despite paragraph (1), if this Regulation is filed with the Registrar of Regulations after 9 June 2023, this Regulation comes into force on the day on which it is filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
