The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Kisii Centre, the eighth CBK outlet, officially opened on October 21, 2020, offering central banking services to commercial banks, county governments, and the general public. The CBK Kisii Centre will commence operations with a "soft launch" on June 7, 2021, providing non-cash services, and duly authorized officers of commercial and microfinance banks in the region are requested to initiate formal preparations and documentation.
