The Kisii Centre is the eighth CBK outlet and joins Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, in addition to three Centres in Nyeri, Nakuru and Meru, offering Central Banking services to commercial banks, County Governments and the general public.
We are pleased to inform Commercial Banks (CB) and Micro-Finance Banks (MFB) that the CBK Kisii Centre will commence operations with a "soft launch" from June 7, 2021. No cash services will be available for now but all other non-cash services will be available. In the meantime, duly authorised officers of CB and MFB with branches in Kisii, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Migori, Bomet, Kericho and Narok, are requested to get in touch with CBK to commence the formal preparations and documentations.
