Reference is invited to BRPD Circular Letter No.- 03, dated 02 May 2017, on the subject above.

  1. In light of the instruction from the Department of Financial Institutions, Ministry of Finance, Memo No.- 53.00.0000.331.36.002.17-109 dated 24 April 2017, banks may determine, on the basis of the bank-customer relationship, the applicable down payment for raw jute exporter loan accounts and the minimum deposit requirement for new loan approvals, in accordance with Bangladesh Bank BRPD Circular No.- 15, dated 23 September 2012.
