BRPD Circular Letter No. 13: Changing designations for General Side and Cash Side of Bangladesh Bank
The Bangladesh Bank has changed several job designations for its General Side and Cash Side staff, effective immediately, as approved by the Board of Directors on January 14, 2024. The updated titles include Executive Director (Currency), Director (Cash), Additional Director (Cash), Joint Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director, replacing previous managerial titles. All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are directed to use these new designations in all official correspondence, letters, and emails.

With reference to the change of certain designations for the General Side and Cash Side of Bangladesh Bank, you are hereby informed that, with the approval of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Bank held on January 14, 2024, at its 431st meeting, certain designations for the General Side and Cash Side of Bangladesh Bank have been changed as follows:
