Regulation 21 of the Guidelines for Prudential Regulations for Consumer Financing is replaced to alter the criteria for financing used vehicles. Banks must now only finance used vehicles that were imported as described in the existing Import Policy Order, removing the previous prohibition on financing cars older than five years. This change applies to all scheduled banks in Bangladesh.
