BRPD Circular Letter No. 36: Regarding Evening Banking Operation at Bank Branches
The document instructs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to suspend evening banking operations at branches that previously received Bangladesh Bank approval to operate in the evening. This suspension remains in effect until the government issues further instructions regarding the implementation of its declared revised office hours for electricity conservation. Subject: Regarding the implementation of evening banking operations at bank branches.
Reference is made to BRPD Circular No. 18 dated November 29, 2012.

It is hereby instructed that evening banking operations at all bank branches where such operations were previously initiated with the approval of Bangladesh Bank (before and after the issuance of BRPD Circular No. 18/2012) shall remain suspended until further notice, in order to adhere to the government's declared revised office schedule for the purpose of electricity conservation.
