BRPD Circular Letter No. 43: Special Facilities for Institutions of Leather Sector which are Relocated to Tannery Industrial Estate at Savar

Reference is made to your attention to BRPD Circular No.-01, dated January 06, 2021, BRPD Circular Letter No.-22, dated April 12, 2021, and BRPD Circular Letter No.-30, dated June 22, 2021, on the subject mentioned above.

2. As per the instructions mentioned in the aforementioned circulars and circular letters, the deadline for submitting applications to customers wishing to avail restructuring or rescheduling/rescheduling facilities, subject to cash payment of down payment, was set until September 30, 2021.

3. Considering the ongoing adverse impact of COVID-19 and the investment of leather industry institutions in the raw skin collection and preservation program of slaughtered animals, the deadline for submitting applications to customers wishing to avail restructuring or rescheduling/rescheduling facilities, subject to cash deposit of down payment, is hereby extended to December 30, 2021.

4. In addition, other instructions mentioned in BRPD Circular No.-01/2021 will remain unchanged.

5. This instruction is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
