BRPD Circular Letter No. 59: Name change of Prime Bank Ltd to Prime Bank PLC

The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of the scheduled bank 'Prime Bank Limited' to 'Prime Bank PLC' effective November 19, 2023, in accordance with Section 11C(a) of the Companies Act, 1994. This action was taken pursuant to Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(21)/2023-9826 issued under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972, and the notification is attached for the information and necessary action of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.
