Reference is drawn to your attention regarding BRPD Circular No. 12, dated: 20 June 2023 and BRPD Circular Letter No. 38, dated: 12 September 2023, on the subject cited above. 02. Under the aforementioned circular and circular letter, the deadline for customers to submit applications to the respective banks for rescheduling of loan/investment accounts, after depositing the required down payment in cash, was fixed until 30 November 2023. However, it has come to our knowledge that due to various reasons beyond control, a significant number of clients in this sector have not been able to submit applications to the respective banks by fulfilling the down payment and other conditions to avail the benefits mentioned in the circulars till date. 03. In this regard, the deadline for customers to submit applications to the banks after depositing the required amount for down payment in cash has been extended until 31 December 2023. 04. In addition, the other instructions mentioned in the aforementioned circular and circular letter shall remain unchanged. 05. This instruction is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, and shall come into force immediately.
