The Bangladesh Bank requires all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to ensure the proper infrastructure and qualitative development of their training institutes. Banks must appoint a senior-level full-time employee as the head of the training institute and ensure faculty numbers are commensurate with total staff. Specific infrastructure requirements include at least two classrooms, one computer lab, one dining hall, and internet-connected computers and projectors. Additionally, institutes must conduct regular management reviews, prepare annual training plans by December, operate primarily with internal faculty, and have board-approved policies for institute management.
